Testimonial from Fall 2016:
Susan and her jewel box of a store “Jewelry Emporium” have been wonderful to work with over the years. I now have two beautiful rings that she helped to design. I had been thinking about looking for a cushion cut diamond for the past few years and had found an ad for one in a magazine that I liked. I approached Susan one day and asked her if she carried that particular line? She said no but she would be happy to look for a stone when she made her annual trip to Antwerp. She gave me her lovely photo book of some previous trips and we started talking about what she could find for me. She obtained a couple stones in different sizes and clarity before her trip so I could definitely decide on a cushion cut and we explored colors and quality.
While she was in Antwerp I was on a European river cruise and she texted me pictures of diamonds that she had found. With her great eye and expertise she actually found a larger diamond and of better quality for a very good price. After the diamond arrived in the US I originally thought I wanted a simple setting but as we were looking at options it was clear that the prettiest setting was not very simple. As Susan says, “You can never have too many diamonds. Go big.”
The rest is history. I am now the proud owner of a beautiful ring and setting that I could never have imagined owning. The experience of exploring options and settling on a diamond was exciting and all together positive.
